Maxwell Consultancy are working with a global engineering business in their search for a Maintenance Engineer. This is a permanent role working from their state of the art, engineering facility in Ayrshire.

The role is best suited to a Mechanical bias engineer with good electrical maintenance skills also.

What's required?

* Ensure that Plant & Equipment is maintained in accordance with Company and Statutory requirements

* Strong fault finding skills and problem solving skills

* Planned and reactive plant maintenance

* Heavy engineering background with CNC machine maintenance beneficial

* Interpret equipment and plant layout drawings: mechanical and electrical

* Respond to machine/plant equipment breakdowns and carry out any necessary repairs and report cause of breakdown

* Produce evidence of plant and equipment breakdown occurrences coupled with documented improvement recommendations

* methodical approach to work is required to ensure that housekeeping standard is maintained in accordance with Company requirements

* IEE Regulation 18th edition certified advantageous but not essential

* Machine tools and CNC controls experience beneficial

What to expect?

* Hours Per Week - 39 hours

* Day Shifts - Monday to Thursday - 7.30am to 4.30pm & Fridays 7.30am to 12.30pm (early finish)

* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
