The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified SEN Science Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible science lessons to students with SEN, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and supporting the overall development and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality science lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and differentiated learning activities.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
Work collaboratively with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and other staff members to support student learning and development.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to make science accessible and enjoyable for all students.
Attend and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
Experience teaching science, preferably with experience in an SEN setting.
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and SEN best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with SEN.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
