Job Title: Child Support Worker
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Job Description:
As a Child Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in our team, directly assisting children and young people in various settings to provide emotional and practical support. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:
. Establish positive relationship with the children.
. Conduct key work sessions as a group or individually to support the young person with their emotional, social and behavioural needs.
. Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised care plans for the young person.
. Work closely with other social service professionals, community organizations, and government agencies to coordinate services and support for the young person.
. Implement behaviour management strategies to address challenging behaviours as well as working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive living environment.
. Maintain accurate and detailed records of each childs progress and behaviour and complete reports and documentation in a timely manner.
. Must be able to respond to crisis situations calmly and effectively, following established protocols.

Qualifications:
· Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications or qualifications are a plus).
· Experience working with children or young people in a residential setting or similar
· Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on children's lives.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to the changing needs of the children.
