Have you worked with production tooling equipment, and used automated equipment on a production line? My client is looking for a Production Operative to join its team as an extrusion setter and operator.

Job duties of the Production Operative are to:

* Set up and run all automated equipment

* Interpret technical specifications from drawings

* Process recycled materials using compounding processes

* Maintain accurate records and update systems as required

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve and deliver to business aims and objectives

Skills and experience required for the Production Operative are:

* Five years’ experience in extrusion (preferably PVC)

* NVQ or similar in pipe and profile extrusion

* Practical problem-solving attitude and ability

* Experience of setting, operating and troubleshooting a wide range of production tooling within an Extrusion Environment

* Production schedule management

* Ability to work as part of a team
