We're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading civil and utilities main contractor who inhouse civil, structural and MEICA engineers based in Manchester.

Location: Manchester - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be working within the team, supporting them with the delivery of a broad range of Mechanical and Electrical related services predominately within the water sector so having worked within the water sector especially on pumping stations would be advantageous. You will also contribute to the delivery of more complex services by providing solutions which are safe and buildable (in both their temporary and permanent states), above all other consideration

Your day to day will include:

* Production of intelligent BIM models to support tender schemes and project delivery, raising capability and performance in delivery of intelligent BIM models, integration with other core design services, leveraging BIM capability to upsell other services.

* Tender and bid winning support including outline design schemes, feasibility studies, production, and evaluation of concepts, focused and buildability, efficiency, and innovation; enabling cost estimates to be developed.

* Delivery of alternative solutions and value engineering, enhancing the company’s competitive position.

* You have relevant postgraduate experience

* You hold a Full driving licence
