Zest Optical are supporting a leading manufacturer in the optical industry to recruit a Field Service Engineer into their ever-expanding team.

Well-established as one of the leading manufacturers of smart and efficient instruments and technologies in the industry, our client has developed a fantastic reputation for offering a whole range of services and forged long-lasting relationships with a number of leading eye care providers in the UK.

Field Service Engineer (Optical / Ophthalmic) - Role

Primary responsibility of providing technical support for partners throughout Surrey, Berkshire, West Sussex and Hampshire
Perform on-site installations, preventive maintenance, software / hardware updates and repairs
Instructing/training customers on technical operation and maintenance of equipment
Manage and control field inventory, tools, test equipment, technical documentation, and other assigned equipment
Variety of individual and team projectsField Service Engineer (Optical / Ophthalmic) - Requirements

Previous experience as a Field Service Professional in the Optical or Healthcare industries
Can demonstrate functional technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Interpersonal and communication skills with customers requiredField Service Engineer (Optical / Ophthalmic) - Package

Base salary up to £45,000
Fully expensed vehicle
