Lead Product Development: Oversee the design, development, validation, and launch activities of new products.
Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with internal stakeholders and customers to develop products from conception to production.
Technical Expertise: Utilize your knowledge in materials, mechanical design, GD&T, BOMs, PBOMs, and MRP Part Number/BOM creation.
Skills Helpful for the Role
Engineering Degree: A degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Project Delivery: Proven experience in delivering projects under tight deadlines.
Automotive Experience: 5+ years in OEM/Tier 1/Tier 2 Automotive Industry.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, CAD Sectioning & Interrogation (ideally CATIA).
Product Launch: Proven experience in product launches and automotive NPI APQP & Manufacturing Processes.
Mechanical Design: Strong knowledge in mechanical design, interior trim, injection moulding tooling & feasibility, and FMEA.
Product Experience: Experience in Interior Trim, Console Trim, IP Trim, and Door Trim is essential.
Essential Traits
Independent and Self-Driven: Ability to work independently and set and monitor your own goals.
Collaborative Team Player: Work effectively with others to deliver projects from RFQ to production.
Effective Communicator: Communicate clearly and concisely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
