We are seeking an experienced and strategic Controller. This role, based in Richardson, TX, is crucial for the effective management of our accounting team.
Job Responsibilities include:
Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely month-end close processes are performed in accordance with GAAP standards
Ensure monthly reporting package is delivered to North American and international management team for review
Manage of accounts payable and accounts receivable staff
Calculate and report royalties and commissions to various stakeholders.
Work with international colleagues on intercompany activity.
Process quarterly GST/QST filings
Prepare and analyze weekly cashflow forecast
Prepare monthly bank reports
Assist with formalizing a budgeting and forecasting process
Ensure timely processing of all vendor invoices & payments
Manage the disputes for all customer chargebacks and deductions taken
Oversee collections and credit limit decisions
Become key player in forecasting & analysis
Other ad-hoc projects as defined by management’s strategic objectives
Requirements
Qualifications include:
5+ years of experience in a comparable role.
Education: BA, BS, MBA or equivalent experience.
CPA preferred.
Successful candidate will be a self-starter, information seeker and understand the needs of a growing accounting organization
Ability to multitask various projects to ensure all deadlines met
Understanding of the complex nature of a CPG retail distribution model
Experience using Microsoft Business Central, NAV or Dynamics ERP and Jet Reports is a plus
