Electronics Test/ATE Development Engineer – Fareham, Hampshire – Permanent up to £55,000 + bonus + good pension

A rapidly growing and successful company needs someone to help make their existing ATE fit for purpose to cope with a sharp rise in production numbers. Once you’ve bootstrapped their current setup, you’ll play a leading role in designing and developing a new state of the art Automated Test Equipment setup.

You’ll be developing test strategies and test equipment that enable repeatable product manufacturing in accordance with design and customer order requirements. This equipment covers PCB and functional test of finished products.

The company prides themselves on employee development and wellbeing and creates electronics products that are genuinely on the cutting edge of what is scientifically possible, previous placements at this company have told me that its an unrivalled and fascinating technology.

To qualify as a suitable candidate for this role you will need:

* Robust background in developing ATE

* Some level of programming ability in a language such as Labview or Python (although you will be working alongside a highly skilled software developer who can do a lot of this if needed)

* Good knowledge of PCB manufacturing and PCBA testing

* If you happened to have any knowledge of RF technology, that is very useful but not essential

If you aren’t sure on this one, need more money or would just like to know more info then please click apply and I’ll contact you for an informal chat about it all
