TIG Welder Fabricator / Roade, Northampton / £14 - 20 ph / Days
Our Motorsport client based on the Outskirts of Northampton is looking to recruit a skilled TIG Welder Fabricator.
You will have the opportunity to fabricate bespoke components, working on new projects on a regular basis – primarily for the rally and F1 industries. My client is a growing, friendly and supportive Engineering company.
The successful candidate will have experience TIG welding a variety of materials: Aluminium, Steel, and Titanium (advantageous). Previous experience in the Motorsport/F1/Automotive sectors is essential for the role.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Starting Salary: £14 - 20 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 39 hour week. Days based role Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm (Flexibility to start and finish earlier with overtime)
Overtime: Regularly available at 1.5X pay before/after hours, as well as on weekends.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Highly Proficient TIG Welding/ Fabricating
* Experience working with the following materials- Steel, Aluminium, Titanium (advantageous)
* Ability to Fabricate Motorsport/ F1 Components from scratch
* Able to work from detailed engineering drawings
* Working to Tight Tolerances
* Previous experience in the motorsport industry/working with car parts
* Strong attention to detail
