HGV Class 1 Drivers
Location: Felixstowe
Shift Pattern: Day and Night Shifts Available
Pay Rate: Weekdays £15.95-£17.88 p/h, Weekday Nights £16.70-£18.72 p/h, Weekends £19-£21.29 p/h, Weekend Nights £20.50-£22.97 p/h
Employment Type: Ongoing work. Full time or Part time.
Igloo is recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for container work based in Felixstowe. This opportunity is with one of the UK’s leading distribution companies, offering reliable and long-term ongoing work.
The Role:
* HGV Class 1 driving.
* Container transport to and from docks.
* Trunking and port delivery work.
* Delivering containers to other depots, distribution centres and ports.
* Collections from other sites.
* Timed deliveries requiring strong timekeeping and communication.
* Some handball will be required.
* Unloading the vehicle at ports.
Requirements:
* Average shift length is 12 hours
* Preferably experienced in container work.
* Minimum 2 years' experience with a full UK C+E licence.
* Valid Driver CPC and Digi Card.
* No more than 6 points for minor offences.
* Strong timekeeping skills and communication for timed deliveries.
