My client are a well-established residential developer and contractor delivering predominantly new build housing, healthcare, education, and extra care schemes across the North West.
With a strong pipeline of diverse and exciting schemes secured, they are seeking an Assistant Buyer / Plant Manager to join their team.
Duties and responsibilities to include assisting with the below:
* Assist in sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services necessary for projects.
* Prepare purchase orders and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
* Maintain accurate and current records of procurement activities.
* Assist in monitoring and controlling project budgets related to procurement.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to achieve them.
* Ensure all plant equipment complies with safety standards and regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of plant equipment inventory and usage.
* Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
* Support the procurement team in achieving departmental goals and objectives.
