A smashing role has become available for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a global business in the local area. Managing a team of Drivers and Warehouse Operatives, you will be leading from the front as this role is very much a hands-on position.

Role responsibilities:

Plan, pick, coordinate, and monitor material processing
Motivate, organise, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to achieve productivity targets
Effective Driver Management, Coach and motivate ensuring the fleet of drivers will adhere to company policy procedures, Health and Safety guidelines and security processes
Conduct regular stock control checks and ensure inventory accuracy
Optimise the utilisation of resources, space, and mechanical handling equipment
Maintain high standards of quality control
Ensure health, safety, and security protocols are consistently followed within the work environment
Perform key holder responsibilities, including securing the facility
Uphold strong housekeeping standards
Flexible to suit the demands of the business
Candidate requirements:

Proficiency in operating both counterbalance and reach forklift trucks
The ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to work under pressure
A clean, full driving license is desirable
