Headley have a new role available with a mid sized manufacturing company in Leeds.

They have a requirement for an experienced Goods in Operative to work in the warehouse.

This is a role where you’ll join a small team and have opportunity to make a real difference to the operation. We are seeking an experienced candidate able to suggest changes to ways of working and improve current procedures.

Day to day duties to include:

* Receiving, unloading and storing deliveries

* Liaising with other departments, notably Production, Purchasing and Dispatch

* Checking of against paperwork and reporting discrepancies

* Developing best practices around storage and accessibility in the warehouse

* Use of warehouse management systems

* Maintaining health and safety

Required experience:

* Warehouse work for a manufacturing company, ideally processing a range of different materials within a multi product environment.

* Well organised and methodical approach to work

* Confidence to be able to make changes to ways of working

* Good attitude to work, dedicated and committed

* Stable employment history

* FLT experience

* Physically fit and able
