SEN Humanities Teacher required:

Location: Stockport

Contract Type: Full time.

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Humanities Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to students with SEN, ensuring an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Humanities lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN.

* Assist with creating and implementing Individualised access plans for students with diverse learning requirements.

* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and academic success.

* Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure effective communication and a holistic approach to student development.

* Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.

* Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback to both students and parents.

Qualifications:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Specialism in Humanities or a relevant subject.

* Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.

* Knowledge of different learning styles and effective teaching strategies for students with SEN.

Skills and Attributes:

* Compassionate and patient approach towards students with diverse learning needs.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to individual student needs.

* Strong organisational and time-management skills.

* Commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
