About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts and Audit Senior / Semi-Senior with a strong background in accounting in a PRACTICE setting as well as experience in audit. This position will be 80% accounts and only 10-20% audit as they have very few audit clients.
The role is fully office based.
Responsibilities:
* Work in the Advisory Team.
* Interact with and manage clients.
* Oversee all aspects of the company’s accounting and financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance.
* Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Learn and implement financial modelling and forecasting.
* Stay up-to-date with accounting and finance best practices, regulations, and standards to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
* Assisting with audits from planning through to completion liaising with the client and managing the process within budget.
* Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Provide strategic financial advice and support to management to help drive business growth and profitability.
* Stay up-to-date with accounting and finance best practices, regulations, and standards to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
* Fully Qualified ACCA, ACA or AAT Level 4 qualification
* At least 4 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting in UK Public Practice
* Has FULL working rights in the UK and will NOT require sponsorship
* Strong communication skills, adept at engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
* Strong knowledge of audit and accounting principles, practices, and standards.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
