CNC Machinist

4 days a week!

Major Recruitment are looking for a CNC Machinist to work in our client's state of the art site based close to Walsall. The cell consists of two 5-AXIS Hurco's and a 5-AXIS ROEDER with a RCE1 Robot Pallet system.

Our client is a family run organisation with a strong presence and good reputation within the UK Aerospace industry

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate 5 Axis Hurco's and a ROEDER using setting sheets.
Conversational program, set up and operate Hurco 5-AXIS to produce precise components to specification using WinMax software at the console.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Check your own work using a range of measuring equipment.
Completing one offs and batch work.
Ensure that production requirements are met in line with the production schedule.Requirements:

Must have a min of 10 years of machining experience, Aerospace desirable.
Experience of setting, operating and conversational programming on Hurco milling machines is essential.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
An ability to work with minimal supervision to Sub 0.05mm tolerances is essential.
Experience of 5 Axis Machining is advantageous.
Experience of working with graphite is advantageous.Job Type and Hours:

40-hours, Full Time, Permanent, Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 16:30Salary:

£16ph which is negotiable dependant on experience.
