Drivertemps are currently recruiting for experienced class 1 day container drivers for work in the Southampton area. Regular shifts will be available through the winter.
* Driving duties will include container runs all over the country.
* Day shifts or tramping can be accommodated depending on your preference.
* £25 per night out.
* Morning starts.
* Regular and part time placements available.
* Weekend shifts available.
* Minimum 10 hours paid per shift, with paid breaks.
* £16.00-£18 per hour - Ltd company.
* PAYE and umbrella options also available.
Pay:
We are working with various companies in the Southampton area. Rates range from £16.00 to £18 per hour, all with minimum 10 hrs paid. No break deductions.
Requirements:
* Valid HGV class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
* Valid driver CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
* Minimum 1 year class 1 experience.
* Preferably 6 months container experience.
* Relevant knowledge of EU driver hour rules and working time legislation.
* TAC (terminal awareness card) for Southampton docks.
* Good communications skills.
* Over 25 for insurance purposes.
* No more than 6 points on your licence.
