This role is a temporary to permanent position and requires candidates to be able to work full-time. We are not able to offer sponsorship for this position.
Our client are a Specialist Post 16 College, which offers special school leavers the opportunity to follow educational pathways to prepare for adulthood. They are currently looking for 3x Support Workers for Waking Nights to help support them and further develop. Part-time can be considered for the right candidates.
You will join a skilled and experienced team of colleagues and support a wide range of students who love to come to college and enjoy learning. Working with our students you will support them with dignity and respect as they navigate a world as young adults with on-going reliance on others for support to live their best lives and be available to access learning.
Post holders will support learners to develop self-advocacy and preference, which enjoying and engaging in sensory and development educational pathways. Students may have long-term health conditions, as well as learning difficulties. You will offer empathy and understanding and promote dignity and respect in all that you do.
