Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
Salary: £40-£50k, Bonus and other benefits
Location: Commutable to Dewsbury (Yorkshire) Office based role (some flexibility of hybrid working)

We are delighted to announce that we are retained with a long-established and highly reputable manufacturing business. Client is a pioneer in offering complete solutions for joining HDPE pipework for the water and gas industries. Their success is driven by their people, dedication and their work.

Looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction while minimizing costs.
Analyse supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate inventory records and optimize stock levels.
Coordinate shipping logistics and ensure timely deliveries.
Collaborate with and identify new vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to streamline operations.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements throughout the supply chain.
Resolve issues that arise in the supply chain process, such as delays or quality concerns.
Implement and manage relevant software systems.
Skills and Qualifications

3+ years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role (preferably in manufacturing/engineering)
MCIPS Qualification
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience of developing Supply Chain management on a global scale
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems.
Solid understanding of inventory management and logistics processes.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Cost reduction
On-time delivery rates
Supplier performance metrics
Customer satisfaction levels
