Solely HR are proud to be supporting a small company in Plymouth who are searching for an experienced Customer Service Advisor. My client pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer experience as an expert in their field, creating an environment where their customers feel valued and supported.

My client is seeking a dedicated and friendly CSA to join their dynamic and enthusiastic team. In this role, you will be one of the first points of contact for their customers when they visit the store and therefore will need to ensure their enquiries are handled with the highest level of professionalism and care. Whether it’s in-person, over the phone, or via email, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and leaving a positive impression with every interaction.

This role is permanent and full time, with the requirement to work occasional Saturdays on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers in a warm and friendly manner, both in person and over the phone. Handle a variety of enquiries, from product information to service issues, ensuring that each customer feels heard and valued.

* Problem Solving: Listen to customer concerns, investigate issues, and provide timely and effective solutions. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.

* Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of the company products and services to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.

* Sales Support: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services that meet the customers’ needs.

* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

* Stock Control: Replenish stock items and order new stock online where required.

* Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across different departments to ensure seamless service delivery and to improve overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.

* Retail experience would be desirable.

* Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.

* Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with composure.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Good level of computer skills and familiarity with various customer databases and stock ordering systems.

* A proactive and positive attitude with a passion for helping others.

* Flexibility to work weekends on a rotation basis.
