Senior Python Developer - Ai/NLP/ML

Akkodis are currently working in partnership with a leading service provider to recruit a Senior Python Developer to join their thriving AI Team and become a frontrunner as an AI Provider.

The Role

As a Senior Python Developer you will take the lead in spearheading the development and delivery of cutting-edge software solutions empowered by state-of-the-art AI technologies such as Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision.

The Requirements

Deep proficiency using Python, specifically with regards to software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
Experience handling unstructured data and applying machine learning techniques, including Natural Language Processing within the context of Large Language Models, and Computer Vision
Experience working with cloud platforms and services (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS)
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Motivation to adapt to new technologies and learn quicklyDesirable skills

Familiarity with frontend development languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/Typescript, React, MUI).
Knowledge of web application frameworks (e.g. FastAPI)
Understanding of large language models and their applications (e.g., OpenAI GPT)
Expertise in database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
Experience working with deployment software (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines)
Strong documentation and technical writing skills
