The role is to work as a Network Architecture lead for B2B Service design over XGS-PON. Typically, supporting activities with interpretation of requirements, the technical assessment of solution options, writing High Level Designs, service test strategies, and consulting into wider project delivery teams within the client's organisation.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be making network architectural recommendations, producing technical documents and presentations (HLD etc.). You will be presenting effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences and engaging with various technical & non-technical teams during the life cycle of a project to provide guidance when required.

Applicants will only be considered if they can demonstrate experience working in a Service Provider environment and with multi-tenanted devices. Ideally, you will be certified to CCIE Service Provider level and experienced with Nokia XGS-PON OLT, BNG. You must show evidence that you have been providing services over XGS-PON and in Converged Interconnect Network environments. You should have experience with automating network solutions (at a high level, not expected to code). Experienced with routing protocols BGP, OSPF, ISIS, SR-MPLS, IPv6. Experienced with VLANs, tagging and QoS. Experience with Ethernet & MPLS based products - L2VPN, L3VPN etc. Experience with Overlay technologies - SDWAN etc.

Only candidates with the right to work and already living in the UK will be considered. Sponsorship is not available. This contract job will pay a rate of £715 per day Inside IR35 for an initial 3-month period. You will need to be able to work hybridly from one of the client's 5 core locations based across England.
