Android Developer - London (Hybrid 2 days per week on site) - Market Rate, inside IR35 - 12 months

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer who is proficient in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, XML, and has a solid understanding of MVVM design patterns. You will work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and the design team to create high-quality, bespoke mobile applications.

Required Skills and Experience:

Expert knowledge of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

Proficiency in XML and MVVM design patterns.

Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.

Strong understanding of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Proficient in Android Studio and Git.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills.

Experience with integrating bespoke data sources and third-party systems.

Familiarity with UX design principles.

Expert in developing, supporting, and maintaining high-profile Android applications.

Experience in investigating and diagnosing production issues in complex Android applications.

Ability to work with dev teams to provide code and/or configuration fixes.

Expert in industry-standard development methodologies and tools.

Experience integrating Android applications with APIs and SDKs.

Demonstrable experience working on complex Android systems, over the past 5 years.
