Hybrid, 2 days on site per week (London, Liverpool or Newport)
Inside IR35, up to £400 P/D

The role:
  1. Understand Needs: Engage with client teams and customers to grasp their procurement requirements.
  2. Market Research: Identify potential suppliers and assess market conditions.
  3. Supplier Relationships: Build strong supplier connections for a reliable supply chain.
  4. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement risks.
  5. End-to-End Procurement: Provide comprehensive procurement support from start to finish.
  6. Public Sector Experience: Leverage commercial experience within the public sector.
  7. Communication Skills: Utilize strong communication skills to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
  8. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to maintain alignment and address concerns.

Compliance
  1. Know Regulations: Stay updated on Public Contract Regulations 2015.
  2. Follow Procedures: Adhere to clients standard operating procedures.
  3. Document Everything: Keep thorough records for transparency.

Project Management
  1. Define Roles: Use a RACI Matrix to clarify responsibilities.
  2. Plan Projects: Outline timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  3. Monitor Performance: Track and report on project progress.

Collaboration
  1. Teamwork: Work closely with the Procurement Team and stakeholders.
  2. Customer Communication: Keep customers informed and address concerns.
