Job Description:
My client is seeking a ServiceNow Principal Solution Architect to lead the scoping, design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across various projects. This role involves analysing business requirements and ensuring their technical implementation aligns with industry best practices. You will collaborate closely with engagement leads, project managers, business analysts, developers, and testers to guide designs through to successful implementation, while adhering to risk and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across client projects.
- Analyse and implement new business requirements using industry best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, analysts, and testers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Ensure risk management and quality standards are met throughout the project life cycle.
- Communicate and align stakeholders with proposed solutions.
- Mentor and guide teams in delivering complex ServiceNow projects.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of ServiceNow platform experience, with expertise in CSDM/CMDB and advisory services across sectors such as banking, insurance, and public.
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator and Certified Implementation Specialist in at least one product suite.
- ITIL Foundation (v3 or v4) certification.
- Strong JavaScript, CSS, and Angular JS Scripting experience on the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations, including Integration Hub, SSO, Web Services, LDAP, and JDBC.
- Proven success in consulting, technical delivery, and complex technology project management.
- Expertise in agile and traditional project methodologies.
- Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed and work remotely or on-site for client meetings or projects.
This role requires a combination of leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in complex environments.
Permanent/Mostly remote - 1-2 days a month in office in London, Newcastle or Erskine
