Server Platform Engineer - 6 Month Contract (Scope for extension) - Amsterdam

Our client is seeking an experienced Server Platform Engineer to lead an office re-IP project with a focus on Active Directory (AD) and DNS management.

• Location: Amsterdam - Hybrid
• Contract Type: 6 months
• Start Date: ASAP
• Day Rate: 375PD - 450PD

Responsibilities

• Re-IP Project:
  Lead and manage the office re-IP project, coordinating with IT teams and ensuring minimal disruption.
• Active Directory:
  Design, manage, and troubleshoot AD structures and policies.
• DNS Management:
  Configure, secure, and maintain DNS Servers and records.
• Server Engineering:
  Manage Windows and Linux Servers, automate tasks, and optimize performance.
• Collaboration:
  Work with cross-functional teams, provide tier 3 support, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in infrastructure re-IP projects.
• Deep knowledge of AD and DNS management.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and Scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
