Head of Finance Transformation - Government - Remote - 9 months FTC - £85, 000 to 90,000 pro rata

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a central government organisation for an experienced leader to join them on a fixed term contract basis and project manage and lead the design, selection, implementation and delivery of a global finance system to meet the needs of the organisation, streamlining and automating processes and integrations, and creating an effective user-friendly product which can support the varied business requirements of the organisation and provide timely decision support to senior decision makers.

Essential:
Experience of leading and managing virtual teams and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
Experience of successfully leading the delivery of a finance/ERP system selection and implementation project, specifically, Dynamics 365, and preferably within a government Arm's Length Body.
Proven project management experience in delivering best in class finance system solutions to time and budget.
Knowledge of latest industry products and solutions for a best-in-class global finance solution.
Proven ability to solve complex problems and present complex ideas and concepts easily and to non-technical/finance audiences.

Desirable:
Prior experience in a public sector environment with an understanding of Public Sector Procurement Regulation
