Strategic Account Manager/Client Portfolio Manager

Duration: Permanent

Location: Hybrid, London

Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager with extensive expertise in E-commerce and proficiency in either Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional consulting and advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering trust.
  • Understand clients' business objectives and challenges to provide tailored strategic advice.
  • Provide high-level strategic guidance on E-commerce best practices, trends, and technologies.
  • Advise clients on optimising their use of Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud to achieve business goals.
  • Identify opportunities for clients to enhance their E-commerce strategies and performance.
  • Coordinate the activities of various internal teams to ensure cohesive and aligned efforts.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the client and internal teams.
  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and expansion.
  • Propose and implement strategies to increase client engagement and retention.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, client services, or related roles in the E-commerce industry.
  • Extensive experience with either Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud is mandatory.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of E-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and online retail strategies.
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities and the ability to influence others.
