Strategic Account Manager/Client Portfolio Manager

Location: Hybrid, London
Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 depending on experience
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager with extensive expertise in E-commerce and proficiency in either Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional consulting and advisory services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key stakeholders.
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering trust.
- Understand clients' business objectives and challenges to provide tailored strategic advice.
- Provide high-level strategic guidance on E-commerce best practices, trends, and technologies.
- Advise clients on optimising their use of Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud to achieve business goals.
- Identify opportunities for clients to enhance their E-commerce strategies and performance.
- Coordinate the activities of various internal teams to ensure cohesive and aligned efforts.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the client and internal teams.
- Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and expansion.
- Propose and implement strategies to increase client engagement and retention.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, client services, or related roles in the E-commerce industry.
- Extensive experience with either Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud is mandatory.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of E-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and online retail strategies.
- Demonstrates leadership qualities and the ability to influence others.
