Job Title: Data Management Analyst/Associate

Do you understand the complexity of data and the key role it plays within Asset Management? Then we would like to talk to you. As (Junior) Data Management Analyst, you facilitate the information provision process.

You are responsible for:
- managing our data suppliers, imposing quality standards, and monitoring compliance with them.
- Utilizing your investment, data knowledge and skills,
- You audit the data and enrich it in compliance with the standards agreed with the customers of the information products.
- You engage in active dialog with the aim of boosting data quality.
- You guide and control the translation of business requirements into solutions in day-to-day operations as well as at a larger scale within the context of project organization.
- The world isn't perfect so you track the imperfections and propose improvements.
- You have an innate ability to empathize with the client's needs, you are tenacious and service-minded and you provide constructive criticism.
- You will be creating and reporting performance dashboards in order to better monitor portfolio investments.

You'll be part of the (dedicated) Data Management department and potentially part of an Agile team too. You'll be dedicated to a domain/client and rotate from time to time, domains are (Quant) Equities, Fixed Income, Alternative Investments, Risk Management and ESG. You will be in charge of reporting performance dashboards to Front Office in order to better monitor portfolio investments.

We are looking for a Junior Data Management Analyst/Associate in Amsterdam. Your residence is in the near vicinity of the Amsterdam office as your working day starts early. Within Asset Management you'll work within Data Management. This department part of Operations - positioned between the Investors and IT - in the centre of the organization.

With a broad responsible - starting with data definitions up to the daily delivery of information products to the Investors. The team is a mix of permanent and contracted employees to match the needs of a busy project portfolio. The diverse team, the work and the environment all have a distinctly international flavor.

As (Junior) Data Management Analyst/Associate you have superior analytical insight. You excel in managing the organization of information flows and are able to map them clearly. You actively network, are proactive and you focus (with) your team on achieving results. Your knowledge and expertise make you a valued dialog partner. You embrace changes and flourish in a dynamic environment. Working under daily time pressure in a dynamic and changing environment is not a problem for you and you are familiar with the financial products and their characteristics.

You strive to enhance the daily operational flow and have an attitude to pursue perfection in your work as well as your close colleagues. You are able to translate day-to-day events in usable management information.
