Business Analyst for the Enterprise Service Management implementation in Atlassian Cloud JiraSM
The client is looking for a Business Analyst with advanced Atlassian Jira Service Management knowledge for work on the Enterprise Service Management project.
Experience in gathering user requirements and creating service management use cases in similar projects of named customers is required.
The business analyst must be proficient in breaking down the identified use cases to workflows, UI elements, service desk and service catalogue components.
Awareness about the importance of UX in JiraSM implementations will be highly valued.
Education:
- Required: Master's degree in information technology
- Desirable: Business Analysis Certifications
Required skills:
- Analytical and Critical Thinking
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Understanding the Business Objective, effectively advising stakeholders (customers), advanced English language
Experience:
- Experience in Enterprise Service Managementimplemented in Atlassian Cloud JiraSM
Desirable:
- User Experience (UX) design
Role objective:
- The Business Process Analyst's role is to interview, analyse, discuss, elicit, design, and validate business process requirements for all Business units involved in the ESM project.
- This includes researching and analysing data in support of business functions, process knowledge, and systems requirements. The Business Analyst is also responsible for proactively generating and compiling reports based on findings, complete with recommended improvements to - or new requirements
Tasks:
The Business Analyst will be required to support the Platform Owner of JiraSM and Project manager of the ESM project, interacting in an agile manner with all Business units involved in the Project, as well as external technical teams in charge of the implementation.
Task identified, but not limited to, are:
- Identify the initial service request drivers
- Collect requirements with all Stakeholders
- Validate requirement and possible implementation with the JiraSM SaaS (Atlassian Cloud) version
- Work with the ESM Platform Owner and the PM to articulate a plan of delivery
- Drive the validation of implementation with use cases and acceptance Tests
- Actively participate in weekly update sessions
Deliverables:
- Analyse and document business processes in relation to ESM requirements, by interacting with the relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and document clear and unambiguous business requirements, functional specifications, using appropriate tools.
- Identify and propose adequate configuration of the JiraSM SaaS Product that do not conflict with other stakeholders of other Business Units.
- Identify and propose business process-related improvements and optimizations considering the shift to JiraSM.
- Take on an active role to assist the ESM Platform Owner and the project manager in the project follow-up and implementation, including setting up a roadmap, milestones, and timelines.
- Actively participate in weekly update and other relevant project sessions.
