Senior Java Developer - Java, SpringBoot, APIs, C++, Credit Derivatives, Trading, Clearing, Post-Trade, Financial Services - London - £100,000 - £120,000 base + bonus + benefits

My Client, a global Financial Services organisation based in the City are searching for a permanent Senior Java Developer. This role will be specifically joining their post-trade function, and will sit in an engineering team who look after clearing of Credit Derivative products.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will undertake a mixture of Server Side development in Java & SpringBoot, partnered with being a part of business facing initiatives to modernise and enhance their external facing application and ever evolving market demands.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in the following:

• Server Side engineering in Java, and the building of SpringBoot microservices
• Modern development best practises including TDD and DevOps, being familiar with modifying CI/CD pipelines to maximise efficiency.
• REST API development and integration.
• A background in either Investment Banking or Investment Management, ideally demonstrating an understanding of financial products and the trade life cycle.
