Lorien are currently working with a leading banking organisation who are currently looking to add further members into their Core and Data application support team.

The team provide support and expertise for the organisations on premise and Azure platforms. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for deployments of project changes to the platform alongside providing technical support, maintenance and improving the underlying technical estate across various environment.

The organisation is striving to become 'Digital First' and now is an exciting time to join as you will support their cloud adoption strategy. As the team are preparing for the transition, there are still a number of systems and applications that still require support and expertise.

The right candidate will have experience of running and migrating applications to Azure. Additionally, you will support the team towards operational excellence within an Azure cloud environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• 24/7 support and management of the organisations on premise & Azure cloud digital data platform, providing technology specialism within application support
• Assisting with the development of the technical cloud capability of the team.
• Responsible for end to end service support of VM's key Core & Data systems. This will require support on with both on premise and Cloud platforms as well as applications and services.
• Carrying out daily health checks and reporting of overnight batches and systems
• Supporting our services through the proactive identification of risk and swift resolution of live issues while maintaining excellent customer service

Experience:

• Strong capability and experience of managing production services across an Azure including performance, availability, resilience & security of the platform.
• Experience of batch & file transfer related issues for on premise and Cloud
• Experience of providing technical expertise for application support for on premise systems in both Windows & Unix operating systems.
• PowerShell or other Scripting
• Automation
• Agile
• Power BI

There will be a requirement to work between the hours of 07:30 - 17:30 as part of early/late rota.

They will be an opportunity to join an on-call support rota for 24/7 core & data services & also support out of hours changes.

The role is paying up to £50,000 on a fully remote basis. up to 13% pension, private medical, income protection, bonus 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays with option to purchase further days.

Candidates must be based in the UK and have right to work status in the UK.
