Search consultancy are working exclusively with a business in York to support in the recruitment of an accounts assistant for a permanent contract.

Reporting to the finance manager you will be responsible for keeping supplier accounts up to date, checking statements and allocating payments, maintaining the integrity of the purchase ledger and effectively communicating with other departments to resolve issues.

In order to be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:

Ability to manipulate data via excel
Adaptable and logical thinker
Reliable
Ability to plan ahead
Comfortable communicating on the phone The role is offering a salary of up to £27,000 dependant on experience
