Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an experienced functional MES consultant to join an exciting project for a prominent & global high tech manufacturing client.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth functional knowledge of MES solutions, particularly AspenTech, Wonderware and Osi Pi.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Migration Projects:

• Support PM as Sub/Technical PM in migrating the current MES and data-historian solutions to the new landscape.
• Evaluate and embed architectures into landscape.

System Consolidation: Post-carveout, consolidate MES and data historians into 1 or 2 global solutions.

System Ownership and Management:

• Act as IT system owner and SME for Global MES and data historians.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including changes and incident management

Key Knowledge and Skills:

• Technical Project Management
• Wonderware AVEVA MES and Data Historian Expertise
• OSI-PI Knowledge
• Stakeholder Management
• Systems Interfacing
• Operations/Supply-Chain Functional Process Knowledge
• Understanding SAP MES and IP22 Connectivity
• Knowledge of System Processes
• Understanding of Processes Flowing Downwards, Not Upwards
• Global Coordination and Monitoring of Manufacturing and Quality Management Work Processes

Contract details for the role

• Start date: ASAP.
• Duration: 6months + with extensions
• Remote
• Agreement: (40 hours per week.)
