Lead Software Developer (Drupal) - Exciting Opportunity in Bristol

About the Role:

We are working with an innovative tech team based in Bristol, seeking a Lead Developer (Drupal) to lead the development of their Drupal website. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned developer to play a key role in transforming the digital platforms for two leading brands.

In this senior position, you'll be responsible for guiding the technical direction of the website. You will take a leading role for the whole SDLC from BAU maintenance to greenfield development. You will also get the opportunity to mentor more junior members of the team in a very collaborative environment.

On the day to day you will:

  • Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications for the development team.
  • Oversee the planning, design, development, testing, and release of new features and enhancements.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members, promoting growth and collaboration.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality through testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and introduce new tools and processes to drive innovation.

You will bring:

  • Extensive experience with Drupal.
  • SEO Practices and Google Analytics expertise
  • TDD, OOP and SOLID practices
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and planning skills.
  • A passion for learning and introducing new tools and technologies.

What's on Offer:

Along with a salary of £60-75,000 there is a Bonus, 25 days + BDay off, Pension Contribution, Dedicated time PW for L&D.
