Senior AI Engineer

Akkodis are currently working in partnership with a leading service provider to recruit a Senior AI Engineer to join their thriving AI Team an become a frontrunner as an AI Provider.

The Role

As a Senior AI Engineer you will take the lead in spearheading the development and delivery of cutting-edge software solutions empowered by state-of-the-art AI technologies such as Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision.

The Requirements

• Deep proficiency using Python, specifically with regards to software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience handling unstructured data and applying machine learning techniques, including Natural Language Processing within the context of Large Language Models, and Computer Vision
• Experience working with cloud platforms and services (eg, Microsoft Azure, AWS)
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Motivation to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

Desirable skills

• Familiarity with Front End development languages and frameworks (eg, JavaScript/Typescript, React, MUI).
• Knowledge of web application frameworks (eg FastAPI)
• Understanding of large language models and their applications (eg, OpenAI GPT)
• Expertise in database management systems (eg, SQL, NoSQL)
• Experience working with deployment software (eg, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines)
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills
