Job Title: Risk Modelling Consultant
Location: West-Midlands (1 day per week), Remote (if needed)
Remuneration: £55,000 - £65,000 + 17% Bonus
Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Apply your expertise in Risk Modelling, Pricing, and Loss Cost Models to aid in the development of competitor and demand modelling.
• Engage in innovative projects from the early stages and contribute to pricing innovation.
• Lead the development, implementation, and testing of general insurance demand and competitor models, ensuring effective market understanding and maintaining market parity.
• Collaborate with a technically skilled team and actively participate in building pricing models using Predictive Modelling or Machine Learning methods.
• Utilise your stakeholder management experience to effectively communicate complex concepts and findings to various internal and external stakeholders.
• Become a subject matter expert, advising on best practises and guiding a small team.

About the Role:

Join our client's Pricing Development team as a Risk Modelling Consultant and contribute to the development and innovation of pricing strategies. As part of an inclusive and innovative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring fair pricing for our members.

Your primary focus will be on demand modelling and pricing innovation. You will have the opportunity to apply your advanced modelling skills, ideally using R and WTW Radar software, to design and implement cutting-edge pricing models. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including senior management and leadership, to drive successful outcomes.

About You:

As an experienced Risk Modelling Consultant, you are driven to enhance performance and strive for excellence. You possess a proven track record in a Pricing team, with direct involvement in building pricing models and end-to-end design. Your technical expertise in GLMs/GBMs, Machine Learning methods, and market sector knowledge will be highly valued.
