Position Overview:
As an Independent Contractor Chiropractor at Milan Medical Group, you will collaborate with in-clinic medical providers to deliver integrated patient care, focusing on treating the root causes of conditions rather than just the symptoms. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans specifically designed for each patient.
Objectives of the Role:
•Cultivate patient retention and actively grow the practice by focusing on patient health and performance.
•Work closely with medical providers and patients in treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, as well as optimizing long-term wellness.
•Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories, asking questions, observing movements, conducting physical examinations, and reviewing X-rays as needed.
•Communicate effectively with patients and staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
•Evaluate a patient s neuromusculoskeletal system and spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine related conditions.
•Arrange and analyze diagnostic X-rays to locate the source of difficulties and rule out fractures or disease.
•Perform manual adjustments to the spine and other articulations of the body to correct the musculoskeletal system.
•Educate patients on the quality-of-life benefits of routine chiropractic care and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
•Maintain accurate and timely patient records using computer software and notes.
•Participate in office meetings and contribute to the growth and development of the practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
•Entrepreneurial spirit.
•Bachelor s degree in biology or a related field.
•Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited chiropractic school.
•Passing score for a professional examination, such as the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
•Valid state chiropractic license and licensure in Illinois.
•Full eligibility for malpractice insurance in the location of practice.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
•Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
