Salary: £90k - £100k plus bonus
Candidates must be wiling to go through SC and DV clearance for this role.
I am looking for a Sales Manager for a client of ours who are a leading tech and engineering firm operating within the UK defence and national security sector. You'll be working for a company that offers specialist knowledge in sensors, communications, cyber, and AI and ML.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactive Business Development from requirements identification, capture and shaping through to order closure.
- Internal and external stakeholder management to drive successful sales outcomes through the full sales life cycle.
- Develop, Owning and managing a rolling 5 year forecast to accurately deliver Order Intake for future business planning.
- Identifying and executing partnering strategies in support of campaign objectives, securing win-win positions with our partners.
Essential
- Experience of working within the procurement cycle for large-scale (£20m+) and complex projects with UK Ministry of Defence.
- Proven ability to demonstrate integrity and build organisational trust with customers and partners, building relationships for the long term.
- Knowledge of UK MoD, organisations and structures, and how to align them to products and services.
Desirable
- A proven track record of Bidding and Winning large-scale (£20m+) and complex projects with UK Ministry of Defence
- An understanding of how UKStratCom procures Strategic Services and R&D.
- Experience working in Service-oriented contracting models.
