THE ROLE:
The role involves designing, coding, testing, documenting, and implementing software solutions, with a focus on ETL and data migration. Key responsibilities include building and refactoring code, reviewing and debugging, implementing unit and system tests, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs, and estimating workload based on acceptance criteria.
THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced SQL Developer with a strong focus on quality and problem-solving. They should be familiar with design and architectural patterns, Agile methodologies, and have experience in Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, and Test Automation. Proficiency in T-SQL, Microsoft SSIS, SQL Server, and Power BI is essential, while knowledge of SSRS, distributed source control systems, SSAS, Jira, and Snowflake is desirable. The candidate should communicate effectively, prioritize workload, mentor junior team members, and proactively identify issues early in the SDLC. Knowledge of insurance terminology and Microsoft certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
