Join Our Team: Dutch-Speaking Editor (Remote, 6months +)

Our client is seeking a Dutch-Speaking Editor to join their Audiobooks team on a temporary, remote basis for a 6+ month contract. Help us build and manage editorial collections across Dutch-language markets, optimize search results, and collaborate on marketing campaigns that celebrate unique cultural moments.

What You'll Do:

• Manage ongoing editorial updates, hypotheses, and playlists for Dutch-language markets.
• Collaborate with our French-language editor to deliver high-quality, data-informed editorial content for relevant storefronts.
• Utilize research, cultural insights, and data analytics to continually enhance and elevate our audiobooks platform.
• Work cross-functionally with teams in growth, marketing, product, engineering, and operations to highlight and champion audiobooks.

What You'll Bring:

• Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch and English, with the ability to collaborate with global teams and Dutch publishers. Knowledge of German is a plus.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in editing, curating, or merchandising content at a digital-first platform or publishing house.
• Industry Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Dutch-language publishers and a keen understanding of the Dutch publishing landscape.
• Cultural Insight: Deep immersion in Dutch culture and trends, especially those related to the book industry.
• Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Data-Driven: Comfortable using quantitative and qualitative data to make informed decisions.
• Diversity Focus: Experience in building and implementing diverse recommendations that represent cultures and people globally.
• Editorial Acumen: A keen sense of what makes titles suitable for different situations and an ability to quickly identify authors, series, and titles to recommend.
• Organization: Highly organized and detail-oriented.
