iO associated have partnered with a UK-based Engineering services company that specializes in mechanical and electrical process engineering, industrial services, and site installations. We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for designing of panel, schematics, PLC wiring from concept to commissioning.

Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Peterborough, UK

Salary: upto £45K per annum

Using AutoCad, the work will require the generation of:

• Panel layouts and bills of materials
• LV distribution and cable calculations using Amtech software
• Generating electrical control schematic diagrams
• Generating instrument loop diagrams
• Generating PLC wiring diagrams and I/O schedules
• Machinery safety circuit design and risk assessments to BS EN ISO 13849/60261
• Preparation of commissioning & technical documents

Desirable:

• Preferably candidate will have knowledge of PLC control wiring systems, instrumentation and motor starter control types.

You'll be paid £45,000 per annum with 4% pension contribution, life assurance 2x annual salary and more benefits. If you have worked as Electrical Design Engineer in Industrial environment, then this is the role for you.
