About the role
We’re now seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide a financial business partnering service to the Operations and Resources directorate. As Finance Business Partner, you’ll produce the Group monthly management accounts with variance analysis and forecast. You’ll act as the key contact for financial advice to budget holders which includes supporting the maintenance of accounting and other relevant systems.
Reporting to the Financial Analysis Manager, you’ll be responsible for the preparation, production, and presentation of the revenue management accounts and ensure effective budgetary control is maintained. Assisting the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll deal with auditors’ queries and assist with preparation of samples and any other related information for inclusion in the annual statements.
Additionally, you’ll ensure that all data protection requirements are met in accordance with the Group’s policy, procedures, and statutory requirements.
About you
You’ll have a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) and experience in management accounts, variance analysis, budget setting and working with a range of budget holders across an organisation.
With excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills and a natural problem solver, you’ll be able to analyse and interpret numerical and written information with excellent attention to detail. You’ll have excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office software and be proficient in a range of relevant software applications.
A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
