Role: Advanced Vehicle Concept Engineer

Location: Oxford, England.

Type of Role: Contract (6 months)

Work Mode: 90% onsite role (4 days in office)

My client who is a multinational automobile manufacturer specializing in designing and developing electric vehicles is looking for a Advanced Vehicle Concept Engineer to join their dynamic team.

In this role you will:

• Develop detailed CAD schematics in V6 and Visual BOMs to assess vehicle concepts and impacts, differentiating between Change Orders and new strategies.
• Ensure alignment of vehicle concepts with performance attributes and maintain consistency in CAD layouts and PLM data for future team transitions.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field required.
• Proven proficiency in vehicle-level architecture with at least 5 years of relevant experience; specialization in closures, mechatronics, or EDS preferred.
• Highly skilled in V6 CATIA modelling and understanding of automotive mechanical requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and familiar with ByteDance products.
