PS Project Engineer - Field Based

We are seeking a Field-Based Project Engineer to join our client's Professional Services team in Tipperary. The ideal candidate will be proficient in networking technologies. This role demands the ability to manage high-paced, client-focused projects, providing expert guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

Manage and document client networks and projects.
Assist with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
Support end-user hardware and software, ensuring smooth operation.
Work closely with Senior Engineers on larger projects.
Provide technical support and clear communication to clients.
Participate in project planning and help mentor new team members.

Skills/ Experience:

Experience in an IT support role, preferably with a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
Strong knowledge of Windows systems, networking, and security technologies.
Familiarity with tools like Microsoft 365, Cisco networking, and Fortinet firewalls is a plus.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage tasks independently.
Relevant certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or Cisco are beneficial.
