Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Evesham (2 days onsite)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting data, analysing results, and providing actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and support them with robust, data-driven analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key metrics and performance indicators.
Data Interpretation: Translate complex data findings into easy-to-understand insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by performing regular audits and quality checks.
Trend Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor data to identify potential opportunities or threats.
Automation: Identify opportunities to automate data collection and reporting processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.
Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical techniques to interpret data and make forecasts, predictions, or recommendations.
Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis on specific business issues as required by leadership.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, R, Python).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Knowledge of statistical methods and data modeling.
Familiarity with database management systems and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
