I'm looking to add an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to the team You will play a pivotal part in scaling, maintaining and managing the Infrastructure & Cloud environment with a focus on Security!

This opportunity would be great for someone looking to work closely with decision makers/stakeholders to put forward improvements and new solutions as the business are putting sizeable budget and focus on their IT estate.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimisation of our core IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Lead and contribute to infrastructure projects from design through to implementation, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, particularly within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Ensure robust security practices are in place and adhered to.
• Manage and optimise network infrastructure, including Firewalls, Switches, and Routers to ensure secure and efficient operations.
• Serve as a technical advisor to key stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems, processes, and procedures.

Ideal Experience:-

• Proven experience in managing and maintaining Servers, storage, and virtual environments (eg, VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure, including deployments, migrations, and management.
• A deep understanding of security best practices, including network security, endpoint protection, and identity management.
• Solid experience with network infrastructure management (eg, TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, VPN, Vlans).
• Demonstrated ability to lead infrastructure projects from inception to completion, delivering on time and within budget.
• Ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting ideas and solutions clearly and confidently.
