Responsibilities

• Support delivery of our client's Finance transformation project for Syndicate's 1183 and 2019. including:
  • Ledger transition from SUN to SAP, including conversion and cut-over
  • Set up of operational processes and controls - including journals, reconciliations and ensuing documentation is in place for key processes and controls
  • Lloyd's reporting build from SAP FW
  • Migration of EUCs from our client's to the client's networks
  • Support on Lloyd's reporting changes and Blueprint 2

• Providebackfill support to the Syndicate finance team, where required:

• Ensuring complete, accurate and timely syndicate reporting:

  • Assisting in the preparation of the quarterly submissions to our client
  • Supporting Lloyd's regulatory reporting, including QMA, QMB, Pillar 3, GQD, TPD, international, tax and SITUS reporting
  • Assisting with additional adhoc reporting
  • Ledger maintenance including quarterly preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Lloyd's market experience - essential
• Insurance experience - essential
• Qualified Accountant - preferred
• Advanced Excel skills essential
• Good knowledge of US, UK GAAP and Lloyd's regulatory reporting rules
• Good knowledge of financial processes and controls
• Good knowledge of Lloyd's accounting and processes
• Good communication skills
• Numerate and good analytical skills
• Team focussed, personable and willing to get involved in new areas
• Ability to coach and develop more junior members of the team
