A Technical Lead Developer is required for a IT Consultancy based in Paço de Arcos.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead Developer to oversee the operational management of 3 to 4 development squads. Each squad consists of a Functional Analyst, a Senior Developer, and a Junior Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly with PL/SQL (preferably Informix 4GL), and possess excellent leadership abilities to drive technical excellence and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Lead and manage 3 to 4 squads, ensuring smooth operation and effective collaboration within and across teams.
- Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Technical Specifications: Prepare detailed technical specifications and provide guidance on application architecture design.
- Team Leadership: Serve as the technical lead for the development team, offering mentorship, guidance, and support to developers at all levels.
- Technical Dependencies Management: Identify, manage, and resolve technical dependencies across projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Testing Oversight: Validate the execution of technical tests, design and conduct technical tests, and ensure thorough testing in non-productive environments.
- Quality Assurance: Guarantee the quality of the final product through rigorous testing and adherence to technical standards.
- Deployment: Oversee and manage deployments in non-productive environments, ensuring smooth and error-free launches.
- Collaboration: Work closely with functional analysis teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring alignment on technical requirements.
- Tool Utilization: Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, DBEAVER, or similar, to manage tasks, documentation, and database interactions efficiently.
- Technical Documentation: Produce comprehensive technical documentation in English to support development efforts and maintain project clarity.
- Team Management: (Nice to have) Experience in managing and mentoring a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Lead Developer or Technical Lead.
- Strong programming skills in PL/SQL, preferably with Informix 4GL.
- Experience with application architecture design and technical specification preparation.
- Hands-on experience with code reviews and technical testing.
Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficient in using JIRA, Confluence, DBEAVER, or similar tools.
- Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation in English.
